Enjoy a Historic stay at

The Walden cabin

About the Cabin
Step back in time at The Walden — a beautifully restored 1806 log cabin nestled on the grounds of Happy Valley Farms. Originally built at the historic settlement of Mountain Cove Farm, the cabin made its way to the valley in 1936 along the Hutchenson family rail line, where it was rebuilt with an expanded room. Nearly two centuries later, Regina and Jim Anthony have given it new life once again. The cabin has been restored with a meticulous attention to the original charm while adding modern comfort and luxury.
