AVA Art Exhibition

Guests are invited to walk through the Hutcheson Hall, experience the artwork throughout the house, and enjoy a relaxed visit to Happy Valley Farms.Step inside the historic Happy Valley Mansion for a special weekend exhibition featuring artists connected to AVA (Association for Visual Arts)

Guests will park in the designated parking area when they arrive and take a short shuttle to and from the Hutcheson Hall. Sunflower U-Pick entrance is included.

Sunflowers & Sweets U-Pick
August 1st   |    10am - 4pm
Spend a summer Saturday picking sunflowers, zinnias, and enjoying a variety of sweet treats at Happy Valley Farms! Join us August 1 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Field admission is $5, with sunflowers $2 per stem, zinnia bouquets $10, and sweet corn $6 per dozen. Enjoy ice cream, fresh watermelon, and admission-free shopping at the Farm Stand throughout the day.

Barbecue & Bourbon

Join us for an amazing farm-to-table dinner with award winning pitmaster Chris Prieto of Prime Barbeque, a MICHELIN Guide-recognized restaurant in North Carolina.

This elevated four-course evening will feature smoked brisket, farm-to-table dishes, specialty bourbon cocktails, curated bourbon and wine pairings, live music, and farm tours. Set against the sunflower fields, it will be a flavorful highlight of our farm dining season.

Plein Air Workshop with Alan Shuptrine

Spend an inspiring day painting the rolling countryside of Happy Valley Farms alongside nationally acclaimed watercolorist, Alan Shuptrine.

Through live demonstrations and personal instruction, Alan will share the techniques, light, and atmosphere that have made his work sought after by collectors and museums across the country.
